PU DSA launches social service projects LAHORE: (Monday, June 23, 2025): Under the vision of Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, the Directorate of Students Affairs has launched a social service and development project in 65 sectors to promote social service. In this regard, PU students will work in various social sectors during the summer vacations till August 28, 2025. These projects include starting YouTube channels, planting trees, teaching children artificial intelligence software, helping in resolving local conflicts, teaching fine arts or videography, volunteering in hospitals, improving water access, starting local book clubs and mentoring youth. According to Director Students Affairs Dr Shahzeb Khan, students who play a role in social development will be mentored. He said that an exhibition of the best projects of the students and an award ceremony will also be held in which the successful projects will be awarded by VC Dr Muhammad Ali. He said that students can work alone or in small teams. He said that students involved in social development projects will also record their activities.
